Casual Crate Wear is made of 100% cotton and is fully machine washable for easy care. Sleep-Ezz mattresses are made of 100% cotton on one side, and Sherpa, which is 100% polyester, on the other side. The polyester filling is mildew resistant and the entire mattress is fully machine washable. The mattress contains convoluted ("egg crate") foam -- the foam is not washable, but is easily removed so the fabric cover can be washed.
